About Rat Hacks
What
Rat Hacks is a hackathon hosted by the Roanoke Valley Govenor's School (RVGS). Rat Hacks will take place on February 15, 2025 from 8AM to 8PM. It will be hosted at 2104 Grandin Road SW, Roanoke, VA 24015 (the RVGS building)
Teams
Teams can be made of 1 to 4 people. You can form your own team or we can help you find one.
Applying
Rat Hacks is open to any high school student. You can find the application here.
Prizes

Food & Drinks
We will have options such as pizza, chicken nuggets, and water. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know on your application.
Judging
Judging will happen during the week following the event. There will be a virtual awards ceremony hosted on the following Saturday: February 22nd, 2025. You can find a copy of the scoring sheet INSERT LINK HERE.
